How to set up for CORA’s LDB on Balancer
Corra (CORA) will conduct a Liquidity Drop Bootstrapping (LDB) at Balancer on May 17th 20:00 (UTC +8). Anyone can purchase CORA on Balancer throughout the 6-hour event. After the event ends, the pool will be paused and a new pool will be seeded on Uniswap. Please follow us on Twitter or join our Telegram group to keep track of the full 6- hour event.
This guide is to help set up for anyone who wants to take part before listing. You will need the following:
1. MetaMask (recommended)
2. USDC or ETH
Below are the details of the LDB:
Starting Weight: 50:50
Ending Weight: 50:50
Pairing: CORA/USDC
Allocation: 700,000 CORA (7%)
Seed: $1,800,000 of CORA & USDC

Here are the steps to set up:
STEP 1
Prepare a wallet supported by Balancer. Currently, Balancer supports the following wallets, but we would recommend using MetaMask:
If you do not have MetaMask set up, go to https://metamask.io/ and click on “Download now”. There are options for iOS, Android, and Chrome.
STEP 2
Once you’ve installed MetaMask, add your USDC and some ETH for gas into your wallet. You can use ETH to buy CORA and balancer would automatically convert it to USDC.
STEP 3
The event will approximately start at 20:00 (UTC+8) and last for 6 hours. Go to the trading screen on Balancer (https://app.balancer.fi/#/trade) and click on the token below “Receive” and then insert the contract “0x0077d27cb82ff12322987b225bfce0bb6e8931b4” in the search box.
STEP 4
Click on the logo under “Send” and search for USDC. Click on USDC and enter the amount you want to buy. You can also purchase using ETH which balancer will automatically convert to USDC. You will need a bit of ETH for gas fee if you are buying with USDC.
STEP 5
Enter the amount you wish to buy and click “Swap”. After the purchase is successful, you can check your wallet for the number of CORA tokens purchased.
